Vitamins your baby needs

Your baby needs the best of the best! I believe in fresh, home-made meals for your whole family. I believe your baby must eat: fruits, vegetables, meats, fish and bread.

1. Vitamin A great for eyesight. Can be found in carrots, green leafy vegetables like spinach, broccoli and cabbage.
2. B1 is great for muscle growth, heart, and nervous system. Can be found in egg yolk, red meat and nuts (I would not recommend giving your baby nuts until she is at least 12 months old.)
3. Vitamin B2 is great for skin, nails, hair, eyesight and the breakdown of protein and fat. Products such as milk, cheese, fish and green leafy vegetables contain lost of vitamin B2.
4. B6 helps your baby's body to absorb protein and carbs. B6 can be found in fish, bananas, pork and chicken.
5. B12 help to make red blood cells and plays an essential role in formation of the nerves. Good source of B12 are eggs, poultry (chicken or turnkey) meat, milk and cheese.
6. Vitamin C is great for immune defenses, protection from viruses and bacteria as well as reducing cholesterol. Foods reach in vitamin C are: kiwi, tomatoes, berries, cauliflower, potatoes, peppers and green leafy vegetables.
7. Vitamin D for stronger and healthier bones and teeth. Good sources are sunlight, salmon, egg yolk, tuna and milk products.
8. Vitamin E is a very powerful antioxidant. Can be found in nuts, vegetable oil, broccoli, spinach and eggs. 
9. Folic Acid properties are good for production of red blood cells and by the way is an essential element during your first trimester in order to protect your baby from defects. Eat carrots, liver, egg yolk, melon, apricot, avocado, wholewheat and green leafy vegetables.

to consult your pediatrician before introducing any new foods to your baby especially if she already has any kind of food allergies.
