Bubble Bath 3-9 Months

How to bath 3 months old baby

1. A bath tub with back support, your baby must sit in a 45 degree angle. You cannot sit your baby until she sits on her own, it puts too much pressure on her back, she will be sitting once her body is ready. Do not fill the tub higher than the baby's shoulder line when lying in a 45 degree angle (see image for reference).
2. A bubble bath soap. I do not use baby wash, I just have her soaking in a bubble bath and before we get out I clean her private parts, armpits, her neck and behind her ears.
3. Baby shampoo to use twice a week. It is recommended to wash baby's hair twice a week, if you choose to wash her hair more often just make sure you are not drying her skin out.
4. Colorful toys. The joy of soaking and relaxing bath can be combined with a little bit of learning experience. Teach your baby to distinguish different colors and shapes. My favorite bath toys are the ones that light up.
5. Any large 100% cotton towel. I do not like to use hooded baby towels. They are too think and too small. I think they are useless after 3 month, and even before that a regular cotton towel will do the job. To dry your baby simply pad the towel all over her body, the skin is still very delicate, be gentle.

While your baby is in the tub do not leave her alone!

Let me rephrase it: never leave your baby unattended in the bathroom!
